Russian air defense equipment (air defense) over the past night destroyed 132 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over a number of regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Thursday, March 20.

“During the last night, 132 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by duty air defense systems: 54 UAVs – above the territory of the Saratov region, 40 UAVs – above the territory of the Voronezh region, 22 UAVs – above the territory of the Belgorod region, nine UAVs – above the territory of the Rostov region, three BPLs – above the territories of the Kursk region and the Republic of Crimea and one BPA – above the territory – above the territory – above the territory – above the territory – above the territory Lipetsk region ” – follows from the message.

The Governor of the Saratov Region Roman Busargin said that as a result of the UAV attack, a woman was injured.

“As a result of the UAV attack, windows were partially knocked out in the Engels City Clinical Hospital No. 1. A woman was injured, now she is all the necessary medical care,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The head of the region noted that classes in Engels schools will be held in remote mode today.

“As a result of the attack of the UAV in Engels, it also partially knocked out windows in two kindergartens and school. There were no children in institutions at that moment. There are no victims among employees,” he said.

“Another inhabitant of Engels turned to the hospital after the attack. Doctors provide him with the necessary assistance,” the governor added.

Meanwhile, the Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev said that the duty officers of the air defense and the means of the EMB discovered and destroyed about 40 UAVs.

“on duty of the air defense forces and the equipment of the electronic warfare in three districts and two urban districts of the Voronezh region, including Voronezh, about 40 unmanned aerial vehicles were discovered and destroyed,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Meanwhile, the Federal Air Transport Agency reported that temporary restrictions were introduced at the airports of Samara and Saratov.
