Russian air defense equipment (air defense) over the past night destroyed and intercepted 93 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the three regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, April 2.
“During the last night, 93 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and intercepted by the air defense systems: 87 – over the territory of the Kursk region, four over the territory of the Rostov region and two above the territory of the Belgorod region,” follows from the message.
Meanwhile, the head of the city of Taganrog Svetlana Kambulova said that the fragments of the UAV after a night attack on Taganrog in the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation were found in four places, including in the area of railway crossing.
“According to the updated information tonight in Taganrog, the wreckage of the UAVs were found in three addresses: Lenin St., 147a, 57 L. Tchaikina St., per. 1st new, 26. A little later, a message was received about the detection of the residues of the UAV in the area of the railway crossing of the chemical st. (Martsevskaya arrow). They had already worked out all the addresses, and conducted the rest of the parts UAVs with explosives, ”wrote the head of Taganrog in her Telegram channel.
She noted that at the moment one person has officially suffered. “He received slight injuries from glass fragments. In the morning, the commission began to work at all objects,” Kambulova said.
Earlier, the acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar, said that due to the attack of UAVs on Taganrog, two apartment buildings were damaged.
