Ministry Of Defense Of Russian Federation Accused Kyiv Of An Attack On Station That Ensures Energy Supply Of “Turkish Stream”

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation accused Kyiv of an attack using an UAV at Korenovskaya station in the Krasnodar Territory, which ensures the energy supply of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, April 9.

“From 23.38 minutes of April eight to April 1.26, the Armed Forces of Ukraine was an attack using 8 UAVs at the Korenovskaya compressor station Korenovsky District of the Krasnodar Territory. This compressor station provides gas supply to the Turkish Stream Export gas pipeline. Korenovskaya station power is 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year ” – follows from the message.

The Russian department noted that all Ukrainian UAVs were shot down by air defense systems and firing groups and damage to the station was not allowed.

The Ministry of Defense believe that “it was a deliberate attack of the Kyiv regime on the international energy facility.”

“In addition, in April 2.30, the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the APC on the Temryuk gas distribution station, which provides the gas supply of the city and the port of Temryuk. Both UAVs were destroyed at the distance safe from the object,” the report said.

“Thus, in violation of Russian -American agreements on the termination of 30 days of blows on energy facilities, starting on March 18, the Kiev regime actually did not stop attacks on the objects of the Russian energy infrastructure for a single day,” summarized the Russian department.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that on the night of April 9, 67 UAVs were intercepted over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory.

It is worth noting that Moscow and Kyiv are accused of each other’s violation of the moratorium on energy blows.

The Russian side holds the position that the moratorium on blows to energy facilities entered into force on March 18, 2025, since on this day Russian President Vladimir Putin gave the military order not to strike at the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. The restrictions should last 30 days with the possibility of extension by mutual agreement of the parties.

In turn, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky accused Russia of increasing the number of air attacks.
