According to the relevant decree of the Cabinet of Ministers about the organization of the educational process, from September 22 in I-IV classes, from September 29 – in the V-XI classes, as well as in all educational institutions a daytime formation has been restored. The educational process was organized in accordance with the rules of a special quarantine regime. More than 80 percent of teachers working in secondary schools received two doses of the vaccine from coronavirus. According to Haqqin.az, this is stated in a joint statement of ministries of education and healthcare.
According to the current rules, in the case of detection of infection with coronavirus in schools, the decision on the closure on the ground is made on the basis of the conclusion of the centers of hygiene and epidemiology of the Ministry of Health. So, from the beginning of the school year in the country for distance learning, 19 schools (0.4 percent) were translated from the beginning of the school year. Of 4,432 educational institutions and 505 classes (0.6 percent) of 89,674 classes. In 72 of these classes, a full-time learning form has already been restored.
Currently, distance learning continues in 433 classes.
Currently 3,477 (0.2 percent) of 1,595,108 students and 2,494 (1 percent) of 229,871 school personnel officer infected with COVID-19. The number of infections in I-IV classes amounted to 637, in V-IX – 1 755, in X-XI – 898.
Given the number of infeed among students, parents are recommended to vaccinate adolescents over 12 years old, which the vaccination is not contraindicated. The vaccination of adolescents is carried out in the Baku Health Center with the consent of both parents.
The presence of a more infectious strain “Delta”, as well as seasonal weather changes increase the risk of spreading the epidemic. In this regard, it is necessary to introduce a third (booster) dose to increase immunity to the disease. In this regard, the Ministry of Health considers it necessary to vaccinate the teachers a booster dose (6 months after receiving the second dose).
Note that at present, the educational process continues according to the relevant rules, in the coming weeks of the translation of all educational institutions on the remote system is not planned.
