Member of the Working Group on Combating COVID-19 of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, Sabina Babazade, spoke about the progress of the vaccination process, which started in the country on January 18 this year.
“On February 8, the process of vaccination of persons over 65 began, and from February 17 – from 50 years old and older,” Sabina Babazadeh told reporters. – From March 3, in accordance with the “Strategy of vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan on 2021-2022 “the process of vaccination of pedagogical and technical personnel of general educational institutions has begun. For this, 10 vaccination points have been opened in secondary schools in Baku.”
Sabina Babazade recalled that at the first stage, the vaccination of teaching and technical personnel in educational institutions of Baku was started. The participation of pedagogical and technical staff in the vaccination process is necessary to maintain a normal learning environment in a pandemic: “Those who wish to take part in the vaccination process can contact the clinic after registering on the website randevu.its.gov.az. Citizens who have difficulties in the registration process , the necessary assistance is also provided.A citizen is entered into the registration system by calling the clinic and providing his personal data to the medical worker of the registration department. After registration, the citizen receives an SMS notification of the date and time of two doses. No need to register for a second dose also makes life easier for citizens “.
A member of the Working Group of the Ministry of Health spoke about the discontent that sometimes arises among citizens: “Sometimes citizens complain that they have to stand in line when they come for vaccination. I would like to note that before vaccination, a person undergoes several checks, as well as the process of obtaining information sometimes makes citizens wait. One of the main reasons for the difficulties is the appeal of unregistered citizens. The registration process does sometimes cause difficulties and leads to expectations. To facilitate our work, we ask citizens to register, and their relatives to help them in this process. ” / p>
