– EU countries are not trying to establish communication with Belarus to counteract illegal migration

The EU countries neighboring Belarus do not attempt to establish communication to counteract illegal migration, Nazarenko drew attention.

“What do we have as a result? Nothing. Not a single attempt to establish communication, dialogue and look for general ways to solve the problem on the border. Some empty statements,” said the first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Lithuania, according to him, went even further – she is going to submit to the UN International Court for the improper implementation of the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, which is not true.

At the same time, she herself stopped all the contacts through the Ministry of Internal Affairs and came out initiative from the relevant cooperation agreement, the representative of the department drew attention.

Yuri Nazarenko also mentioned the “History with the identification of members of the international organized criminal group in 8 European countries, which organized a channel of illegal migration from Russia and Belarus through Poland to the countries of Western Europe and which also financed terrorist organizations.”

“We and the Russian colleagues are accused of instrumenting forced movements. However, together we take organized practical measures to suppress illegal migration and all this amid the growth of the number of sanctions in relation to our states,” he added.
