The Armed Forces of Ukraine until the end of summer can completely stop the Russian offensive, but it is probably not being discussed about the de -Ukrainian discovery in these terms. This opinion was voiced by the “observer” adviser to the Minister of the Interior Viktor Andrusiv.
He also called on the inhabitants of Slavyansk to evacuate, predicting the deterioration of the situation there. At the same time, Andrusiv specified that the capture or capture of the city in the ring in the near future is impossible, but the threat of shelling is growing.
The predictions of counterattacks in the summer Andrusiv called it unreasonable.
“Unfortunately, I do not see the prospects of our powerful counterattacks. We may have successful counterattacks, some breakthroughs. Because a successful counterattack is based on two components: aviation and artillery. And with this, unfortunately, not Everything is as good as we were promised, ”he explained.
Nevertheless, Andrusiv believes that the Russian army will be stopped during this period.
“I do not see the possibilities of great counterattacks on our part. But I hope that we will have enough strength to simply stop their promotion,” he summed up.
