The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan has commented on the detention of blogger Mehman Huseynov.
According to the ministry, operational information was received that Mehman Huseynov brought a drone into the country, for the use of which a special permit is required.
“The blogger was detained yesterday in order to verify this information. During the check, a drone was found and seized from him. Currently, there is no information that Mehman Huseynov took pictures using this device,” the ministry said in a statement. .
It is noted that M. Huseynov has already been released.
