Ministry of Labor on social payments to families of Shahids and participants in war

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population continues the implementation of a large-scale package of social support for veterans and members of the Slahids of a 44-day war.

Ministry of Labor has already been assigned 113 thousand social payments (monthly pensions, benefits, scholarships) 101 thousand people, including members of the Slahids and participants in the war. Also, compulsory personal insurance, almost 2 thousand people were made.

a one -time payment under the new program of social support of persons who became disabled as a result of the wounds received during the military service and heirs of the victims before August 2, 1997, more than 14 thousand people have already received.

Since the beginning of 2021, pensions of members of the families, disabled war, national heroes, and since the beginning of 2022, social benefits have been increased by an average of 60 percent.

In the post -war period, the housing program was expanded 5 times. 3800 apartments were transferred to the families of the Schehids, the disabled warfare and other low -income persons. 264 cars were transferred to war disabled people. In total, more than 12.5 thousand families of the shahids and disabled people were provided with apartments or private houses, and 7,450 war disabled people – cars.

34 thousand services of socio-psychological support and rehabilitation were also provided to 11 thousand people. Including psychological support and free medicine for 3 thousand families, rehabilitation services for 2600 people, 367 units of high -tech modern prostheses for 352 disabled people of the first and second Karabakh wars, 24,300 rehabilitation funds for 1582 war disabled people.

more than 13 thousand families and participants in the war are involved in active employment programs, including up to 8 thousand people in self -employment programs.

In the joint coordination centers created in June last year, more than 53 thousand people were assisted, including members of the Slahids families, military personnel injured in the war, and war disabled people.

In general, for the post -war period, a package of social support for members of the families and participants in the war was implemented, 117 thousand people were covered, they provided 232 thousand social support services.
