The volume of Turkish exports in January of this year increased by 3.6 percent compared to the same period of 2023 – up to $ 20 billion $ 28 million. According to him, the share of Turkey in the total volume of world exports increased to 1.06 percent.

The head of the Ministry of Trade recalled that Turkey exports reached a record maximum in 2023 – $ 255.8 billion, contrary to the losses that took place during the February earthquakes with the epicenter in Kazakhmanmarash.
At the same time, the minister noted that the volume of the Turkish escort over the past 12 months has reached $ 256.5 billion.
The volume of Turkish imports in January of this year decreased by 22 percent – to $ 26 billion, ”the minister said.
According to him, the foreign trade balance of Turkey in January of this year decreased by 57 percent compared to the same month of last year – to $ 6.2 billion. The coefficient of import covering in January of this year increased by 18.9 points compared to last year – up to 76.4 percent, Bolat added.
