Belarus advocates preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov said this during an official visit to Syria.

Noting the competence of Belarus in the fields of industry and agriculture, al-Sharaa emphasized the interest in developing cooperation with Belarus, which is based on the long-standing friendships of the Belarusian and Syrian peoples.
The leader of Syria said that the Syrian side intends to implement a comprehensive reform of the sphere of transport, within which the Belarusian technique will certainly be in demand.
Interlocutors discussed the possibility of organizing bus assemblies in Syria, as well as agricultural equipment, the implementation of other projects.
Ryzhenkov noted that Minsk is ready to continue the humanitarian programs for the healing of Syrian children, implemented under the patronage of the head of the Belarusian state and especially similar to our peoples in recent years.
Having designated an important and constructive role that the Syrian diaspora in Belarus and Belarusian citizens in Syria play to strengthen relations, the minister drew attention to the possibility of obtaining high -quality education in Belarusian universities
