Belarus and India begin a dialogue for simplifying the visa regime. This question has become one of the negotiations of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergey Aleinik with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, Subramaniam Jayshankar in Delhi, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
The ministers paid attention to interregional and parliamentary relations, the inventory of the contractual framework, humanitarian cooperation, including the training of Indian students in Belarus.
“A agreement was reached on the beginning of a dialogue for further simplification of the visa regime in order to increase mutual tourist flows. Sergey Aleinik expressed gratitude to his colleague for the consistent support of the process of Belarusian entering the SCO, as well as for a fundamental positive position on the accession of our country to BRICS”, – noted in the press service.
Diplomats discussed interaction through the EAEU -India, as well as in the framework of other multilateral formats.
We dwelled in detail on the regional situation, topics of global and food security, current crisis in international relations and world economics.
The heads of departments confirmed the coincingent positions on the fundamental aspects of world policy, including the need to build a more fair and sustainable world order based on the multipolarity and sovereign equality of states, the balance of interests and compliance with international law.
According to the Belarusian State, in the Indian capital, negotiations of the Belarusian delegation with the Minister of Chemical Industry and Mineral Fertilizers, Healthcare and Welfare of the India family by Mansukh Mandavia were also held in the Indian capital.
The main topics were ensuring food security, the supply of Belarusian equipment, cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals and the chemical industry. A number of agreements have been reached, which will be in depthly worked out within the framework of industry interaction and contacts through the business circles and the corresponding associations of the two countries.
