Belarus is ready to create conditions for the adaptation and integration of migrants. This follows from the concept of migration policy on 2024-2028, approved in Belarus on Thursday, January 25.
The text that gives BelTA notes that the purpose of the migration policy of Belarus is to create conditions that ensure national security, sustainable economic growth and improve the quality of life of citizens, demographic development, protection of the labor market and integration into the labor market of migrants.
The document indicates the main directions of the migration policy in which international cooperation will be carried out in this area. In particular, it is supposed to form a single migration space of Belarus and Russia to achieve the goals of the Union State, deepening cooperation on migration issues within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, CSTO, CIS, the development of international cooperation on the fight against illegal migration.
In Minsk, they are also ready to create conditions for the adaptation and integration of migrants, to promote migration related to investment, entrepreneurial and innovative activities, as well as in the field of education and support of academic mobility.
In the field of optimization of internal and external migration flows, it is supposed to implement a policy on voluntary resettlement to Belarus to a permanent residence of persons who “have spiritual values similar to the country and want to integrate into the Belarusian society to realize their intellectual, cultural and investment potential, and Also Belarusians abroad “.
