New decrees and orders of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on raising social benefits and pensions will cover 732 thousand people. This Haqqin.az reported to Azerbaijan’s Mintruda.
Signed by President Ilham Aliyev, new orders are a successful continuation of large-scale reforms aimed at increasing social benefits to vulnerable groups of the population, “the department says.
Increased benefits and pensions with new decrees and orders will affect the following categories of persons:
1. People with disabilities and people who are careful with disabled me degrees;
2. Children with disabilities and people who provide care;
3. People receiving benefits due to age;
4. People who receive benefits due to the loss of the breadwinner;
5. Children of military servicemen;
6. Kids guardians;
7. Women with more than five children;
8. Low-income families who have children under the age of one year (receiving targeted social assistance);
9. People adopted children.
10. Disabled pensioners – Doctors and Candidates of science;
11. People having honorary titles “People” and “Honored”;
12. Doctoral students and students.
Also rising the following one-time benefits:
1. One-time social benefit at the birth of a third child;
2. One-time allowance for funeral.
Signed by the head of state, new decrees and orders covers a total of 732 thousand people, including 132 thousand doctoral students and students, and provide for an increase from the beginning of 2022 social benefits in the form of benefits and scholarships. For these purposes, additional 200 million manats per year are allocated.
