“The peculiar statements of the President of Belarus are not the first time in the center of the attention of partners from different countries, including in Armenia. Must be repeated – we are confident that such wording is aimed at servicing the internal agenda of the President of Belarus.” This was stated in the course of the speech in parliament, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, reports Armenia Today.
He confirmed reports published in the media on the Foreign Ministry meeting with the Ambassador of Belarus Alexander Koryuk, during which the diplomat was transferred to the position of Armenia that statements relating to the two countries should be based on mutual respect.
Recall that earlier the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, commenting on the possible prospects for the accession of new countries to the Allied State of Russia and Belarus, said that “Armenia is nowhere to go.” After that, Armenian Foreign Ministry said that “the peculiar geopolitical analysis of the President of Belarus is designed primarily for its own internal political agenda and has nothing to do with Armenia and its foreign policy.”
