The Foreign Minister Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan said that he did not see a political crisis in the country. He said about this at a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Yerevan.
In favor of his opinion, Mirzoyan cited two arguments last year: extraordinary parliamentary elections that decided the political crisis and recognized by all international organizations transparent and democratic. On the other hand, Mirzoyan believes, the small number of participants in rallies does not speak of folk support.
Mirzoyan noted that in any democratic country everyone has the right to rallies, and specifically a parliamentary opposition, can take advantage of their right to criticize the authorities from the parliamentary rostrum.
He emphasized that he could understand the opposition if it talked about the need to cancel the application of November 9, 2020 about the exit from the process of delimitation and unlocking communications. But since the opposition does not do this, it suggests speculation.
