At the same time, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin noticed that the bilateral declaration of allied cooperation with the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan would bring the relations between Moscow and Baku to a new level.

According to Mishoustina, the Russian side sincerely values friendship with Azerbaijan.
The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation also noted the strengthening of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, even despite the pandemic. He declared a great potential for cooperation in the spheres of agriculture, infrastructure, renewable energy, digital economy.
Mishoustin noted the statement of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, which provides an opportunity for the development of the Transcaucasus: “I am convinced that unlocking economic and transport links, the creation of new infrastructure routes is in the interests of all Southern Caucasus states.”
