The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin said that the model of interaction built in 10 years in the EAEU ensures a high level of freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and labor. The Russian prime minister said this, speaking at a plenary meeting of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Yerevan.
The prime minister noted that Russia expects to cooperate with other countries on the development of the Internet of things, which, according to him, is also important for unmanned cargo transportation.
“We will continue to form the infrastructure of the Internet of things. Such detailed systems for collecting and processing data are in demand for controlling road traffic and communal systems, monitoring the environmental situation. And we are open to cooperation in this direction,” he said.
According to Mishustin, these initiatives will give additional advantages to improve the quality of services, expand trade, the emergence of new promising areas for interaction, including the development of unmanned cargo transportation.
“Russia has modern technologies, digital platforms, has mastered the production of a number of complex electronic devices. And here we invite our partners in the Union to switch to these developments, to form additional demand together, strengthen digital sovereignty and our joint economy,” he said.
The prime minister believes that an effective digital transformation will help to make a breakthrough into the future and ensure well -being for almost 190 million citizens who live in the countries of the Eurasian Five.
He recalled that on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin by the end of 2030 in Russia in all the most important areas of the economy and social sphere it is necessary to form digital platforms.
Russia is ready to share this experience with colleagues from the EAEU. Without the harmonization of the provision of public services in the space of the Union in the future, it will be difficult to support a single labor market, ”he said.
In Russia, it is planned to create a group of satellites to ensure fast Internet on the territory of not only the whole country, but also friendly states, – added the prime minister.
In Yerevan, a plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum “Digitalization in modern realities was an imperative to ensure four freedoms.” The heads of government of the EAEU countries took part in the ceremony of extinguishing a commemorative postage brand.
