Mobilization provoked kilometer lines on Russian border with Finland

announced today, September 21, partial mobilization in Russia provoked a massive escape of the population from the country: traffic jams on the border with Finland stretched for many kilometers.

According to local media, residents of St. Petersburg and the region formed a multi-kilometer line, which is concentrated at a border control point with Finland. According to eyewitnesses, the traffic jam was already stretched by 50 km.

Today, at this point of passing, citizens of Russia can still cross the border with Europe using open Schengen visas.

Recall that on the eve of Latvia and Estonia they said that they would not give humanitarian visas to Russian citizens who express their intentions to evade mobilization. This will be done for consideration of national security.
