Moldova And Egypt Discussed Strengthening Of Bilateral Relations

The strengthening of the bilateral legal framework and the resumption of negotiations by agreement of free trade between the Republic of Moldova and Egypt was discussed by Deputy Prime Minister Mikhai Popshay in New York at a meeting with Egyptian Minister Badrom Abladti.

Pepshaya informed the Egyptian colleague that the Moldovan authorities value the positive decision of Egypt to open the honorary consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Cairo.

Vice Prime Minister specified that the discussion also concerned the strengthening of the bilateral legal base.

He expressed the interest of the Republic of Moldova in the adoption of Egyptian experience in the field of renewable and stable energy, as well as in the intention to attract Egyptian investments in agriculture, medicine.

At the end of the meeting, Mikhai Popshay invited his visa to visit the Republic of Moldova.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhai Popshai participates in the work of the high-level segment of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, which takes place in New York on September 23-27.
