Moldova: day of protection of children will be non -working day

In Moldova, the Day of Protection of Children, celebrated on June 1, will become a non -working holiday, Moldupres reports.

The Law on Amendments to Article 111 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Moldova were published on Friday, May 30 in the official messenger of the government and thereby entered into force.

According to the document, having implemented changes made to the legislation, parents will have the opportunity to celebrate June 1 with children.

This Law comes into force from the day of publication in the “Official Herald”, and the government will take the necessary measures for the implementation of the law.

International Children’s Day, celebrated on June 1, is celebrated in almost 50 countries of the world. More than a hundred other states celebrate the day of protection of children on different dates.
