The Moldova parliament denounced the Convention on the Inters -Parliamentary Assembly (MPa) of the CIS, signed in 1995 in Minsk.
“The resolution was approved in the second and final reading by the votes of 53 deputies [out of 101],” said the chairman of the parliament Igor Gros during the meeting, which was broadcast by the press service of the legislative body.
The opposition subjected this decision to harsh criticism, during the discussion of this measure in the first reading, the faction of the Bloc of the Communists and Socialists in protest left the meeting room.
In a speech to the deputies, the vice speaker of the parliament Vlad Batrynch noted that Moldova should pursue a balanced foreign policy. According to him, the CIS MPa is an international platform that helps promote Moldova products in the eastern market and earn hundreds of millions of dollars.
