Moldova authorities at the end of September reported that they are tightening control at the border due to the expected increase in the flow of those entering from Russia.
“If we doubt the honesty of these people, we will prohibit them with entry into our country,” said the head of the Moldova Information and Security Service Alexander Mustyats in an interview with TV8.md.
On the border, according to Mustyats, foreigners plan to ask about the goals of arrival in Moldova, the availability of funds for accommodation and return tickets.
In telegram channels telling about the situation on the borders of Russia, on September 30 there were reports that Moldova misses young men from Russia only if they have relatives on its territory.
After the announcement of September 21, mobilization in Russia tickets for the next flights, primarily to countries where Russians do not need a visa and even a passport, were sold out.
