Moldova agreed to purchase gas from Poland against the background of the continuing conflict with Gazprom, – RBC reports.
Moldavian state-owned company Energocom and Polish PGNIG concluded a contract for a trial supply of 1 million gas cubes.
The press service of the Moldova government also confirmed that it carried out the first purchase of natural gas from alternative sources.
“This is the first purchase of gas from alternative sources in the history of the Republic of Moldova. In the announced tender, Energocom received seven sentences” – the Moldavian government says.
Recall that the Moldova Parliament on October 22 voted for the introduction of a state of emergency in the country to ensure energy security, which will last until November 20.
