Moldova said goodbye to Gazprom

Moldova for the first time in her completely abandoned gas purchases from Russia, wrote the deputy prime minister of the country Andrei Pypin in his telegram channel.

He noted that the authorities of Moldova since last year were going to make gas reserves, as well as diversify suppliers in order not to depend on one. “We managed to do this,” he said.

Now, according to the PIT, the supplier of Moldova will not be Gazprom, but by Energocom. Where this company will get gas from, the official did not report. It is known that Energocom has power storage facilities in Romania and Ukraine.

According to the statements of the Moldovan authorities, the diversification of the supplier will not affect the expenses of the population.
