In Ulan-Bator on Friday, the fourth of April, the 23rd meeting of the joint committee for cooperation between Mongolia and the European Union (EU) was held.
According to Montsame, the parties exchanged information about political, social and economic events, discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources, transition to “green” economy and increasing trade.
Particular attention was paid to joint work in the fight against climate change, including the effective implementation of the measures specified in the Forest Partnership memorandum.
The results of a meeting of the working group on a dialogue in the field of human rights and cooperation were also discussed for development.
Following the results of the 23rd meeting of the joint committee on cooperation, the parties issued a joint press release.
The meeting was held by the Chairmen of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L. Munkhtushig and the Deputy General Director of the Department of Asia and the Pacific region of the Service of External Relations of the European Union (HeAS) Paola Pampaloni.
