Mongolia and Germany signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of transport, reports on Wednesday, March 6 Montsame.
Signatures under the document in Ulan Bator were put by the Minister of Road Transport Development of Mongolia Sandagiin Bambatsogt and the Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure of Germany Folker Vissing.
Vissing Volker is on a visit to Mongolia at the invitation of the Mongolian colleague. As reported in the Ministry of Mongolia, the German delegation included deputies of Bundestag Isabelle Kademartori and Valentin Abel, officials of the Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, Roads Management, the Department of Logistics and Traffic, as well as representatives of professional associations and private sector.
As part of the visit, Vissing took part in a business meeting between Mongolia and Germany. The meeting participants exchanged opinions about the experience of foreign trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, the possibilities of their extensions, as well as the investment strategy of the German private sector.
Representatives of the German private sector emphasized that when investing in the infrastructure sector and the implementation of projects in the framework of bilateral cooperation, the legal environment is important, where there is no bureaucracy in state institutions and which does not harm the private sector.
In addition, representatives of state and private enterprises exchanged views on the development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of transport, added in the Mongol Ministry of Transport.
