Mongolia And Slovenia Confirmed Readiness To Deepen Cooperation

Mongolia and Slovenia are ready to cooperate in the direction of the joint implementation of proposals and initiatives put forward by both parties at the international and regional levels.

This was stated during the official negotiations of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaigi Huralsukha and the President of the Republic of Slovenia Natasha Pirz-Musar, who arrived in Ulan Bator with a two-day state visit, Montsame.

The heads of state discussed 30-year friendly relations and cooperation based on such democratic values ​​as human rights, freedom and the rule of law.

The exchange of views regarding the ways to achieve global goals of sustainable development.

Leaders discussed the long -term and medium -term policy of the development of Mongolia, the possibilities of cooperation in the framework of national movements “Food Support and Safety”, “Billion of Trees” and the scholarship program “Presidential scholarships – 2100”.

The heads of the two states agreed to cooperate in the direction of the joint implementation of proposals and initiatives put forward by both parties at the international and regional levels, the fight against climate change, desertification, loss of biodiversity, as well as expanding the participation of women and ensuring gender equality.

Natasha Pirts-Musar arrived in Ulan Bator at the invitation of President of Mongolia Ukhnaiin Huralsukha. A ceremony of the official meeting of a senior guest took place on Sukhbaatar Square.

During the state visit, the parties will sign a joint declaration of Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia and documents aimed at deepening bilateral relations and cooperation in the field of transport, tourism and forestry.

In 2023, it turned 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia.
