The Head of State noted that Mongolia has historical, spiritual and traditional ties with Kyrgyzstan.
“Ulan-Bator is committed to enriching relations with Bishkek economic content, strengthening political dialogue, activating the exchange between citizens, implementing large-scale projects and programs that are a symbol of bilateral relations,” said Khurelsukh.
The President also praised the implementation of projects agreed by the heads of state of the two countries.
In particular, the politician noted the course of construction work of the Park “The Grove of the Mongol-Kyrgyz Friendship” in the city of Erdenet and the work on the introduction of Kyrgyz seedlings in the Mongolia of fruit bushes and trees in coordination with the national movement “Million of Trees” and the national campaign of Kyrgyzstan “Green Heritage” “.
In turn, Nurlanbek Shakiev emphasized the interest of Bishkek in increasing trade, supplying food and agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan and put forward a proposal for the joint organization of the Culture Day and mutual training of students.
The interlocutors agreed that countries that have no access to the sea and developing countries should exchange experience and deepen cooperation in the areas of tourism, agriculture, light industry, transport, logistics and mining industry.
This official visit is the first visit to Mongolia at the level of the speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic. Mongolia and the Kyrgyz Republic established diplomatic relations on April 22, 1992.
