Mongolia Signed Documents On Air Traffic With Italy And Rwanda

Mongolia signed documents on air traffic with Italy and the Republic of Rwanda, Montsame reports.

The relevant agreements are signed in the fields of the 16th conference of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to conduct negotiations on air communications (ICAN 2024), an important platform for discussing air transport and cooperation in the field of aviation.

as part of the event, the Mongol delegation held a meeting with representatives of Italy and the Republic of Rwanda. As a result of the meetings, an agreement and a memorandum of understanding in the field of air communication were signed.

Signed documents are aimed at expanding the international cooperation of Mongolia in the aviation sector and to withdraw relations with the Italian Republic and the Republic of Rwanda to a new level.

Documents also contribute to an increase in Mongolia’s participation in the International Aviation Industry, the expansion of the Air Transport network and the development of trade and economic relations, which will contribute to further cooperation with these countries.

As a result of the signing of the Memorandum with the Italian Republic, legal norms were created for direct flights between the two countries.

In particular, in the framework of cooperation, directions to Rome, Milan (Malpens and Bergamo airports), and Venice are determined, and in the future it is planned to establish two more directions.

During a meeting with the representative of the Republic of Rwanda, details of routes, frequency and capacity of flights were agreed. The parties expressed their readiness to cooperate in the development of air offices between the two countries and the expansion of air transportation at the regional and international levels.
