Montenegro will not answer the prohibition of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro Zoran Milanich to enter Russia, says in a joint statement of the Montenegrin Ministry of Internal Affairs and Foreign Ministry.
“Montenegro will not introduce any response. We are customized to maintain a political dialogue and cooperate in all areas of mutual interest, on the basis of equality and mutual respect,” the statement says, which quotes TASS.
“We express our regret because of the ban on the entry into the Russian Federation to the State Secretary of the Interior Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro Zoran Milayshu. We consider this decision unreasonable, especially since it is not engaged in the management of Chernogorsk laws, and therefore, it was not included in the adoption Decisions on this and similar cases, “said representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro.
“The sphere of international protection of foreigners and asylum is governed by law on the international and temporary protection of foreigners and ratified international conventions, primarily the European Convention on Human Rights. The competent organizing division of the Ministry of the Interior independently conducts the procedure in accordance with the competence and legal procedures”, – noted in the statement of ministries.
Earlier on Wednesday, Russia as a response to the provision of Montenegro of political asylum businessman Telman Ismailov introduced a ban on entry into the Russian Federation to the State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior of this country Zoran Milanich.
