At the suggestion of the Montenegrin Ministry of Defense, the government of this Balkan country at a meeting on Thursday decided to provide Ukraine with additional military assistance. This is reported by the television and radio company RTCG.
“This decision reflects the sequence in ensuring support for maintaining the integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The department said that since the beginning of the war in Ukraine to this day Montenegro, as a full member of NATO and EU candidate, as well as a sincere friend of the Ukrainian people, condemns the unjustified and illegal invasion of the Russian Federation into a sovereign European state.
“Military and humanitarian assistance provided by Montenegro is evidence of disinterested support for the brave Ukrainian people and continuous devotion to general actions against undemocratic principles,” the Ministry of Defense said.

The report says that in the near future the needs will be considered in cooperation with the Ukrainian side and partners to provide the necessary financial, humanitarian and military support.
