Moody’s again lowered Russia’s rating

The international rating agency Moody’s has again lowered the rating of Russia to “CA” with “B3”, according to Moody’s.

Moody’s today lowered the long-term rating of the issuer (in national and foreign currency) and the rating of priority unsecured debt (in national and foreign currency) of the Russian government to CA with B3, “the Agency of the Agency RIA Novosti.

Forecast on ratings Negative. The action follows the placement in the list to revise with a possible decrease of February 25, 2022. The short-term rating remained at NOT Prime.

Previously, Moody’s has already lowered Russia’s rating at once to six steps, to “B3” with “WA3”, allowing the possibility of further decrease.
