In the province of Sichuan, a forest fire broke out in the south-west of China, due to which more than 140 residents were evacuated.
According to the Sinhua agency, the fire covered the wooded area in the area of one of the villages of the Yazzyan county, located in Gardze-Tibetan Autonomous Okrug.
The fire began yesterday in the afternoon and quickly spread.
To extinguish fire and rescue operations, 300 firefighters and emergency employees were sent to the area.
The victims are not currently reported.
