Hundreds of residents of the province of Sistan and Belujistan in the southeast of Iran suffered as a result of a sandstone. This was reported by the Tesnim news agency with reference to the head of emergency services of the region Majid Muhibby.
“Over the past 120 days, Zahak, Hamun, Hirmmand and Nimruz turned to the hospitals of the cities of 488 people. 64 victims of this number were in stationary treatment,” said Mujibby.
According to him, a sandstorm is expected to last a week.
Mukhibby recommended residents of the region, in particular to patients, children and the elderly, not to go outside without the need, as well as use masks.
It is noted that the level of visibility in the city of Zakhak decreased to 300 meters, and in the sink – to 700 meters.
