More than an hour, Erdogan and Lukashenko discussed war in Ukraine

The presidents of Turkey and Belarus Regep Tayyip Erdogan and Alexander Lukashenko held telephone conversations, BelTA reported.

The main theme of the conversation has become events in the center of Europe and in connection with these issues of war and peace. The Turkish and Belarusian leaders discussed conflict in Ukraine in detail in Ukraine, as well as Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, which began on Monday, February 28, in Belarus, and focus on promoting a peaceful process.

Turkish President announced readiness to help resolve the conflict in Ukraine in every way. Lukashenko, in turn, noted that this position completely coincides with the Belarusian.

A considerable part of the time in a conversation that lasted more than an hour was given to issues of sanction policy from the West in relation to Belarus and Russia.
