Moscow again said that West wants to squeeze Russia from South Caucasus

Moscow fixes the insistent desire of the West to wedge into the formats of its interaction with Baku and Yerevan, the USA and the European Union want to squeeze Russia from the South Caucasus, said Denis Gonchar, director of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“No matter how much they try in Brussels and Washington to imagine something else, this is behind this is a desire to squeeze Russia out of Transcaucasia, and not really and sincerely help establish peace and stability in the region,” said the potter.

He added that in Brussels and Washington they are even afraid to mention Russia in a positive way and recognize the significance of tripartite agreements to normalize Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.

Note that on Thursday, December 8, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova made a similar statement. According to her, “we know about Brussels to implement by any means in the process of normalizing relations between Yerevan and Baku. Just in order to stag the presence on the ground and ultimately squeeze Russia out of the region. This is their dream. We voiced our attitude to this” .
