Moscow, Baku and Yerevan discussed and brought up positions on the issues of border, customs and other types of control following the results of the 10th meeting of the Tripartite working group under the joint chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia Alexei Overchuk, Shakhin Mustafaeva and Armenia, Shakhina Mustafaeva and Armenia Mger Grigoryan.
“The parties discussed and brought up positions on the issues of border, customs and other types of control, as well as the safe follow of citizens, vehicles and goods on roads and railways through the territories of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Republic of Armenia,” the statement said in a message published in Friday on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation.
Deputy Prime Ministers also discussed possible routes for passing the road that provides transport communication between the western regions of Azerbaijan and Nakhichevan through the territory of Armenia. “The parties will continue to work on the implementation of the contracts of the leaders of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation regarding the unlocking of transport relations in the region,” the text notes.
