The anniversary summit of the Organization of the Collective Security Treaty (CSTO) takes place in Moscow in the Alexander Hall of the Big Kremlin Palace.
The meeting is attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, head of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon-leaders of all six countries that are part of the organization, reports, reports TASS.
In this composition, the meeting is in person for the first time in a long time. Several previous summits were partially or entirely in video communication due to the situation with coronavirus. The last fully full -time meeting took place before the beginning of the pandemic, in Bishkek in November 2019.
Earlier, the Kremlin press service noted that it is planned to discuss key issues of interaction within the CSTO, topical international and regional problems, as well as measures to further improve the collective security system.
