The parties advocated the formation of Afghanistan as an independent, single and peaceful state, and also noted the unacceptability of the placement of military infrastructure of third countries in Afghanistan and adjacent states under any prepositions.

Earlier, on September 29, the fifth meeting of the Moscow format on Afghanistan was held in Kazan with the participation of special representatives and senior officials of Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Representatives of Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Turkey were also present as the invited parties at the event. The meeting took part in the acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan.
