Moscow expects an answer in connection with the notes of protest sent to the Armenia Foreign Ministry, said Ivan Nechaev, deputy director of the Russian Foreign Ministry Department during a briefing.
“The corresponding statement was made by the Russian Embassy in Yerevan. Today, a constructive conversation of our temporary attorney in the affairs of the Russian Federation with the leadership of the Armenian Foreign Ministry was held, we are waiting for an answer,” Nechaev said.
.
Recall that earlier the Russian Embassy sent a note of protest to the Armenia Foreign Ministry.
“This is associated with cynical statements containing false accusations against Russian structures of involvement in the emergency in Surmala, the Russian diplomatic mission said.
In particular, Russia accuses Armenia’s political forces of “direct provocation aimed at undermining Russian-Armenian relations.”
