“The achievement of progress in the process of delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijan-Armenian border will significantly advance in the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan.” This is stated in the report of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The agency noted that Moscow proceeds from the need to complete the implementation of tripartite agreements, enshrined in the statements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021.
“Priority tasks Today – the launch of the process of delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijan-Armenian border, as well as unlocking transport and economic relations in the region. The achievement of progress in these areas will significantly move into the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan,” the statement says ministries.
The Foreign Ministry also noticed that this year there was a 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and most of the CIS countries, including Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“With each of the countries, we are preparing a series of anniversary events. Given that a number of events will be worn by cultural and educational nature, we proceed from the fact that they will be of interest to the public,” the materials of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
