Russian Minister of Defense Andrei Belousov instructed the General Staff of the Armed Forces to make proposals on the operational response measures to provocation of the United States with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“Russian Ministry of Defense note the increased flight intensity of the US strategic unmanned aerial vehicles over the Black Sea, which intelligence and target designation of high -precision weapons supplied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Western states, to strike at Russia’s objects. This indicates an increasingly more involvement in the US and NATO countries in conflict in Ukraine on the side of the Kyiv regime, ”the statement said.
The Russian department noted that “such flights multiply the likelihood of airfield incidents with aircraft with the airborne forces of Russia, which increases the risk of a direct confrontation of the alliance with the Russian Federation.”
