Russia poses a military threat to neighboring countries, as it says 76% of the population of Georgia. This is evidenced by the results of a survey of the National Democratic Institute on International Affairs (NDI).
The News -Georgia portal writes that, according to the study, after the start of the war in Ukraine, the number of supporters of the expansion of economic relations of Georgia and Russia has decreased sharply – from 53% to 29%. 28% of respondents believe that the existing economic cooperation with Moscow should be left as it is, and 30% advocate its limitation.
The authors of the study note that supporting the deepening of economic relations with the Russian Federation is now the highest in Georgia among men, representatives of ethnic minorities and supporters of the ruling party “Georgian Dream”.
