In the first two months of 2025, Turkey visited 4,343,060 tourists. The largest number of guests arrived from Iran – 463,865 people.
Russia – 371 344 tourists in second place. This is followed by Germany with 330 070 tourists, Bulgaria and Great Britain.
According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the total number of foreign visits to Turkey in 2024 was 62,269,890.
Of these, 52,629,283 visits came to foreign citizens, and 9,640,607 on Turkish citizens permanently residing abroad.
According to border control statistics, in January 2025, 2,171,118 foreign guests visited Turkey, and in February 2 171 942.
Thus, the number of foreign tourists in January-February of the current year increased by 0.03 % compared to the same period last year.
Today, Türkiye remains one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region.
According to the results of January and February, Iran became a country that sent the largest number of tourists to Turkey- 463,865 people. Russia took second place (371 344) and Germany- third (330 070).
