Motors Roar: Start WSBK-2025 Season In Australia

Turkish MOTOTO TOPPLAKS ISE PIGN and Bahattin Sofuoglu will take part in the new season of the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) championship, which starts in Australia.

The first season race will be held on the Phillip Island highway. On Saturday, February 22, at 05:00 in Turkish time a superpow will be held, and at 08:00 – the first weekend race. On Sunday, February 23, at the same hours, riders will go to the second qualifications and second race.

For Bahattina Sofuoglu, the new season will become a debut in the World Cup in Superbike.

Championship record holder – Jonathan Ray

The most titled racer in the history of WSBK remains Briton Jonathan Ray – he became the champion six times (2015-2020). In second place is his compatriot Karl Fogarta with four titles, and the Australian Troy Bayliss with three victories closes the top three.

Ray is also a record holder for the number of victories in races – 119. It is followed by Alvaro Bautist (63), Fogarti (59) and praise of the Ugatlyoglu (57), which takes the fourth place in the list of the most successful pilots of the championship.

In the season-2025 WSBK, 12 stages are planned. After the start of Australia, the race will be held in Portugal, the Netherlands, Italy, the Czech Republic, the UK, Hungary, France and Spain. Moreover, in Portugal, Italy and Spain, two stages will take place.
