The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Muhammad Ben Salman expressed his readiness to conduct official political negotiations with Iran, Tasnim reports.
As the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Iraq, Foid Hussein, contacted his Iranian colleague Khosein Amir Abdollahian after the recent summit, which Arab leaders and the US president held in Jidd in mid -July.
Pointing to the “good and promising results” of five rounds of negotiations between Iran and Saudi Arabia organized by Iraq, Caniani said that a senior Iraqi diplomat informed his Iranian colleague that Ben Salman announced on the sidelines of the summit in Gidda that Er-Rihiyad was ready To official political negotiations with Iran in Iraq.
“The soil was prepared for the next meeting (with Saudi Arabia) at the political and official level. We also thank the Iraqi government for its positive role,” the representative added.
