Multinational Peacekeeping Teachings Khaan Quest-2024 Continue In Mongolia

For the first time, the exercises were held in 2003 and were jointly organized by the Armed Forces of Mongolia and the Indo-Tikhookean command of the United States, and in 2006 they were expanded to multinational peacekeeping exercises.

The goals of the Khaan Quest-2024 are strengthening defense cooperation between the Armed Forces of Mongolia, the Pacific command of the US Army and the armies of the countries participating in the exercises; increasing the potential of the armed forces of Mongolia in peacekeeping operations; Improving multinational cooperation in the field of peace maintenance and providing the necessary support in building the potential of the armed forces to meet the needs of the UN peacekeeping operations.

This year, a military training group consisting of military instructors from seven countries, including the USA, Australia, Canada, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam,

take part in Khan Quest.

11 platoons from 10 countries, such as the USA, Chinese People’s Republic, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of India, Japan (two platoon), Qatar and Mongolia, take part in the field exercises.

Khan Quest participate in 460 people from 20 countries, including observer countries, such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Egypt and Pakistan.

The opening ceremony of a multinational peacekeeping operation was attended by Minister of Defense of Mongolia Bambatsogt Sandag, Major General General Ganbyamba Sunrev, officials of the apparatus of the President of Mongolia, the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Mongolia, Mongolian defense and law enforcement agencies. by the Rations of the troops of the Armed Forces of Mongolia, ambassadors in Mongolia, military attache and military personnel of the Khan Quest participating countries.
