The murder occurred on Friday, April 25 at about 8:30 in the morning local time. The attacker inflicted stab wounds to one of the parishioners during prayer in the Khatija mosque. A 24-year-old Muslim named Abubakar was brutally killed, receiving 40-50 stab wounds. The attacker recorded the murder on his mobile phone and posted it on the social network.
