Israeli politician of the Arabic origin Imman Hatib Yasin will be the first Muslim man in the Hijab as part of the ruling coalition of Israel, reports AsharQ Al-Awsat.
On the parliamentary elections held in March, Yasin was in the fifth place of the United Arab List. Her party received only 4 places in Knesset, so it did not enter the legislative assembly. But on August 24, the chairman of the Knesset commission on the internal affairs and ecology of Said Al-Harumi passed away from the heart attack, and, according to Israeli law, his place in Parliament will take the following candidate in the election list, that is, Iman Hatib Yasin.
